Today, Ackers Institute of Management Limited had the privilege of facilitating a One-Day Board, Supervisory Committee & Staff Capacity Building Programme for PESA SACCO Society Limited at Sunstar Hotel – Roosters, Nairobi.

Following the closure of De La Rue Kenya and the resulting challenges faced by PESA SACCO due to member withdrawals, the SACCO has embarked on a remarkable recovery journey. Through a strategic capacity-building partnership with Ackers Institute of Management Limited, the SACCO is strengthening its governance, financial stewardship, risk management, and leadership capabilities to enhance sustainability and long-term growth.

Facilitated by Dr. Anthony Irungu (PhD), the programme focused on governance excellence, financial oversight, SASRA compliance, risk resilience, digital transformation, and strategic leadership.
