A Defining Moment for Lompasago SACCO Society Limited! 🎉📘

We had the distinct honour of witnessing the official launch of the Lompasago Regulated Non-WDT SACCO Society Limited Strategic Plan (2026–2031)—a strategic roadmap that ACKERS Institute of Management Limited was privileged to develop in partnership with the Board, Management and key stakeholders of the Society. It's a significant milestone that marks the beginning of a new chapter in the SACCO's journey towards sustainable growth, institutional excellence and greater member value.

It was a privilege for me, Dr. Anthony M. Irungu, PhD, Director & Senior Management Consultant at ACKERS Institute of Management Limited, to debrief participants on the strategic thinking that informed the Plan and highlight the roadmap that will guide the Society over the next five years. The Strategic Plan provides a clear framework for strengthening governance, enhancing financial sustainability, embracing digital transformation, investing in people and accelerating membership growth while reinforcing accountability and effective execution.  

The colourful launch ceremony brought together the Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee, Management, officials from the Ministry of Co-operatives and the general membership, demonstrating the collective commitment required to successfully implement the Strategy.

A special highlight of the day was the symbolic cake-cutting ceremony alongside the Board Chairman, Mr. Caleb Ingolo, followed by the official presentation of the Strategic Plan to the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gilbert Seru, and the Hon. Secretary, Madam Eunice Nyambura, affirming the Board's commitment to translating strategy into measurable results.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the Board of Directors, Management, Supervisory Committee, the Ministry officials, and all members of Lompasago SACCO for the confidence they placed in ACKERS Institute of Management Limited throughout this engagement.
