Today marked the successful conclusion of Day One of the Board Strategic Planning Workshop for Lompasago Regulated NWDT SACCO at Marble Arch Hotel, Nairobi, as the SACCO embarks on the development of its Five-Year Strategic Plan (2026–2031).

The two-day workshop, facilitated by Ackers Institute of Management Limited, brings together the SACCO Board of Directors to validate strategic priorities, review institutional performance, and shape a clear roadmap for sustainable growth over the next five years.

Day One focused on setting the strategic direction through a review of the SACCO's performance under the 2021–2025 Strategic Plan, situational analysis, SWOT and PESTEL assessments, member feedback, and the refinement of key strategic pillars including Membership Growth, Financial Sustainability, Technology, Governance, and People Development.

Tomorrow's sessions will focus on validating strategic objectives and KPIs, developing implementation and monitoring frameworks, formal Board approval of the strategic direction, and action planning for effective execution.
The workshop is being led by Dr. Anthony Mugetha Irungu, PhD, Director and Lead Consultant at Ackers Institute of Management Limited, together with Dr. David Muturi, PhD, Strategy Consultant, and Mr. John Murithi, Support Consultant.

At Ackers Institute of Management Limited, we continue to support SACCOs, cooperatives, NGOs, corporates, and public sector institutions in strategic planning, governance strengthening, organizational development, capacity building, performance management, and leadership development.
