Programme Successfully Concluded!

Ackers Institute of Management Limited is pleased to have successfully concluded the Adventist Regulated Non-WDT SACCO Society Limited One-Day In-House Capacity Building Training Programme, held today at the Society's Boardroom.
Facilitated by  Dr. Anthony M. Irungu, PhD, the interactive training was delivered under the theme:
"Protecting Member Trust, Strengthening Compliance and Enhancing Member Loyalty for Sustainable SACCO Growth."

The programme equipped staff with practical knowledge and actionable strategies on:
✅ Strengthening compliance with the Data Protection Act, 2019 and protecting member information through sound privacy and cybersecurity practices.
✅ Enhancing Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) compliance through effective KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), fraud prevention and risk management.
✅ Identifying suspicious transactions and understanding regulatory reporting obligations to safeguard institutional integrity.
✅ Delivering exceptional customer service by improving member experience, complaint handling, communication and relationship management.
✅ Building member trust and loyalty through practical customer retention strategies and service excellence.
✅ Promoting a strong culture of compliance, accountability and continuous improvement to support sustainable SACCO growth.

The programme attracted active participation from staff, who engaged enthusiastically in interactive discussions, practical case studies, compliance scenarios and experience-sharing sessions focused on strengthening institutional performance and enhancing service delivery.

As part of the programme, Certificates of Participation were presented to participants by Dr. Anthony M. Irungu, PhD, in recognition of their successful completion of the training.
